The Organic Chemistry Tutor

The Organic Chemistry TutorThe Organic Chemistry Tutor is an online text-based course that will teach students about the principles of organic chemistry and teach them how to use the many instruments that are needed in order to learn the science. Organic chemistry is a vast subject that is often difficult to learn; it's not the easiest science to understand. This is the reason why the Organic Chemistry Tutor makes learning the subject as easy as possible.Although the text is written for students who have some knowledge about the subject, the writing is very clear and the explanations for the concepts are right there in the Teacher's own chemistry textbook. Students need not worry about anything that they do not understand. Everything from concept to concepts are explained so that students can get the hang of the course.Lecture topics are clearly explained so that the students do not have to spend time wondering if what they are doing is right or wrong. In addition, video tutorial sho ws the video examples of the concepts in a different angle so that the students can fully understand the meaning of the concepts. The teaching styles are interactive, so students can study right alongside their tutor. The Organic Chemistry Tutor gives lectures in a way that is easy to understand and can be absorbed at a fast pace. It also uses visual aids to let the students visualize the concepts they learn. Most of the teaching styles are traditional, and the students learn by doing instead of listening. The Organic Chemistry Tutor also gives audio files of lectures, so students can listen and learn at the same time. This allows the students to apply the concepts they learn without actually sitting in front of the computer to do so. The structure of the organic chemistry course is presented in a way that the lessons can be learned by almost anyone, no matter what their level of expertise is. One thing that's interesting about the Organic Chemistry Tutor is that it has gone through s everal design changes over the years, which is typical for most teaching materials. The course material is structured so that new concepts are introduced as the older ones are learned, allowing the student to retain new information and use it on a regular basis. While the Organic Chemistry Tutor is designed for students who have little or no background in chemistry, it is not hard to comprehend, and is a great way to learn the science. It is also a way to introduce students to the concepts of organic chemistry so that they can experience what it feels like to study chemistry. By taking a course like this, students will get a better understanding of organic chemistry and be more likely to do well in the lab.In conclusion, the Organic Chemistry Tutor is a great introductory course to the topic of organic chemistry. It is a highly interactive course, which allows students to apply the concepts and learn faster. It also teaches the chemistry of a particular substance, rather than just le arning the compounds themselves.

Chemistry, a Molecular Approach 4th Edition PDF Download

Chemistry, a Molecular Approach 4th Edition PDF DownloadIf you have been looking for a comprehensive introduction to chemistry and a molecular approach to science, then this is the book you have been looking for. Chemistry as a whole is a multidisciplinary field that is made up of more than a dozen different chemical sciences. This fourth edition of the book also includes a molecular approach, and it provides students with an in-depth look at several of the key concepts of chemistry. This book is one of the more popular books in interest books due to its well-organized structure and balanced coverage of chemistry topics. The four edition of the book is organized into three sections: the chemistry of different elements, of biological and medical chemistry, and of natural science. Each section has a section that discusses a single aspect of chemistry. The introduction section provides an overview of the different areas of study that a student will encounter during their career in chemis try.It is often seen that students find themselves confused by the different approaches to chemistry that are presented in a variety of different textbooks, but this is not the case with this textbook. Instead, the molecular approach includes an introduction to the basics of chemistry, including the theories behind many of the different chemical reactions, and then moves on to discuss the important aspects of today's most important chemistry topics. After exploring these aspects, it goes into more depth, giving students a deeper understanding of the different factors that contribute to chemical reaction, and more importantly, how these factors contribute to important aspects of everyday life.A lot of students' experience with a school book would probably be limited to general information about various chemistry topics, and this type of text would probably not provide much in the way of detailed information regarding the history of chemistry or how the discipline came about. Although the book contains a good amount of information about chemistry, the lack of background knowledge in the subject would probably hinder a student from grasping the information presented. The fourth edition of the book also includes reviews of many different textbooks that are commonly used in chemistry courses, giving students a clear sense of what is new and what is old in chemistry class, and which aspects of the material they should learn about and which they shouldn't. As such, the fourth edition of this book is a great resource for new and experienced students alike. The text is very user-friendly and is easy to read. Because of the focus on concise, easy-to-understand language, the book is a good resource for high school students, as well as those in college chemistry courses. While it is well-suited for high school students, there is also a section for students in middle school, and another section for students in elementary school.Overall, this fourth edition of the Chemistry t extbook is a great resource for students who want to get a good grasp of the basics of chemistry, but who may have trouble grasping the material in a textbook. In fact, the book is so well-organized and easy to read that it is often used as a supplemental text for many physics and biology classes, so it is a good addition to your chemistry text.

In Honor Of Amps That Go Up To 11...

In Honor Of Amps That Go Up To 11... Suzy S. If you’re a fan of the rock mockumentary This is Spinal Tap, you know the significance of 11 â€" you know, one louder than 10?   It’s a big deal, folks.   So much so that fans have dubbed today, 11/11   among other things Nigel Tufnel Day in honor of that special amplifier.   (Check out the iconic movie clip here.) So today, crank your volume up to 11 and check out these other LOUD things in rock roll history: Loudest Song Shorter Than Two Seconds Grindcore, a particularly grating subgenre of hardcore punk, is often characterized by loud, brief songs. You Suffer, a 1987 song from genre trailblazers Napalm Death, holds the Guinness World Record for shortest song ever recorded, at 1.316 seconds. Appropriately enough, it was chosen as the bands debut single, released as a 7 on Earache Records. Loudest Mouths In Rock Oasis bandmates Liam and Noel Gallagher have been publicly feuding since the groups first American tour in 1994 (and thats not including the bros personal squabbles before Oasis). While younger brother Liam handled vocal duties, older brother Noel wrote the bands music and generally controlled their creative direction. But egos and grudges got in the way quickly, leading to public fights (including a recorded argument on a 1995 bootleg single and Liams last minute withdrawal from Oasis 1996 MTV Unplugged performance), personal ridicule, and constant conflict thats never let up since the bands start. Even after Noel quit the band in 2009 to start his own solo project, Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, the siblings have hardly backed down, and it seems we can never go a few months without another outburst. Loudest Rapper Alive Theres nothing quiet about DMX. When he speaks, it sounds like hes yelling. So when hes yelling, you definitely pay attention. When Complex magazine did their ranking of Loudest Rappers Ever, DMX took the crown from other rambunctious rhymers like Lil Jon and Mystikal. Thats a pretty deafening statement. Loudest Band Known to Hold Audiences Hostage A lot of loud, aggressive bands came out of New Yorks early 80s new wave punk scene, though the loudest and most aggressive were probably Swans, whose early shows were sometimes shut down by police due to threatening decibel levels. Said frontman Michael Gira: There was one European show in a barn that only held 400 people. The stage wasnt wide enough to put the entire PA in front, so we put half of it in the front and half of it at the back, so the audience was smashed between! The walls, ceiling, everything was shaking, raining down years of collected dust. That was good. Loudest Band (International) Guitar Wolf live the loud life (say that six times). These three guys from Japan playing fast and furious garage inspired punk rock may be something that could potentially cause hearing damage. In fact, their 1999 album Jet Generation is said to be so loud that Matador Records claimed that The levels exceeded the theoretical maximum possible on compact disk audio. In other words, Jet Generation is the loudest CD in history. These guys definitely turn it up. Check out the full list of 11 Loud Moments in Music on Billboard.com. Selling Yourself in an Interview Without Selling at All - Introvert Whisperer

Introvert Whisperer / Selling Yourself in an Interview Without “Selling” at All - Introvert Whisperer Selling Yourself in an Interview Without “Selling” at All Career Attraction August 18, 2014 Communication, Self-Promotion No responses Go to top For any company that has a winning attitude, nothing matters more than getting the right people in the right positions. Therefore, as a job applicant, during the interview process, you must make a compelling case that you are intelligent, competent, autonomous and knowledgeable in the desired areas. However, it’s a catch-22. If you come across as attempting to convince an interviewer that you possess these qualities, you’re much more likely to appear desperate rather than well-rounded. Essentially, the moment you begin to directly brag and display fake arrogance is the moment you lose an interviewer’s interest and your attractiveness as a job candidate. People hate being sold, and hiring managers, recruiters, and HR representatives are just people, after all. This begs the question: How one goes about influencing a hiring manager without coming across as disingenuous and needy for a job? The answer is subtlety. The only way you can “sell” the interviewer is to let them draw their own conclusions about you. Luckily, there are certain things you can do to increase the odds that their conclusions about hiring you will be positive and welcoming. Below, you’ll find some key information that will allow you to sell yourself without actually “selling” yourself. Sell Without Saying a Word When an interviewer meets you, they instantaneously categorize you as a winner or loser, sometimes simply by how you present yourself. Use this knowledge to your advantage and let your looks, posture, and facial expression sell for you prior to even speaking your first word. For instance, when you greet an interviewer with a full smile and alert eyes, they are much more likely to associate you with positive qualities. Your facial expression should say, “I like you.” People like others who like them and tend to associate those people with desirable qualities such as integrity and competency. Which means they’re much more eager to want these people around the office. Regarding dress, know that opposites do not attract. You’re not likely to be perceived well at a bank if you underdress for the interview. Don’t intentionally stick out. It will not build the desired rapport you need. Familiarity breeds fondness. Moreover, studies have shown that matching posture and movements build trust and mutual respect. Without being obvious, do your best to mirror the interviewer’s body language. The Most Effective Interviewing Preparation People (interviewers included) are interested in themselves and their own needs. Therefore, if you don’t know what your audience or a hiring manager wants, you can’t sell them. Luckily, the job description will give you more evidence than you need to formulate an accurate thesis as to what this person wants in an employee. For instance, if a job description states the employer wants someone who is autonomous, take time the evening before the interview to write down a story or example of your autonomy. With that example in mind, work it into the conversation at the appropriate time. Through the anecdote, the hiring manager will naturally see that you are the type of person who will allow them to focus less on managing you and more on the necessary tasks they need to be done. If they list a certain skill you have in-depth expertise with, formulate questions that display your knowledge of the topic. Don’t wait until the end of the interview to present these inquiries, as an interviewer’s assessment of you is likely to be firmly set by then. Rather, ask away when the topic is touched upon. During the Interview Speak without criticism; nobody wants to be around a pessimistic person. Interviewers are more readily sold by those who have a positive, happy outlook and perspective on life. In a genuine manner, convey thoughts that discuss success and, rather than talking about insurmountable hurdles, discuss how you plan to overcome any obstacles. Utilize your rate of speech as an influential measure. When you’re making important points during the interview, it’s helpful to pause for a second after each statement and allow the hiring manager to mentally digest what you just stated. In the End The phrase sell yourself is popular when it comes to the job search. The basic idea is sound, but too many people lose any nuance in the attempted execution. Selling yourself, when it comes to interviewing, is really about paying attention to the cues you receive and send, both before and during the interview. Concentrate less on selling yourself and more on putting your best foot forward How do you like to build a rapport with an interviewer? Share your best tips in the comments! Best Classes For Grad School Admissions

Best Classes For Grad School Admissions The classes you take outweigh the grades you earn in them or at least thats the case at most grad schools. Grad schools want to see that you challenged yourself academically, instead of just padding your GPA. While most schools still require a strong GPA to be accepted, they pay very close attention to the classes you took. For example, an A in a cooking class like Cuisine 101 can actually hurt your chances of being accepted, and a B (or even a B-) in an Advanced Chemistry class can improve your chances, especially if youre applying to a science program. But, ultimately if you can earn an A in your Advanced Chemistry class, there will be no doubt about your abilities. So, do what it takes: put your prof on speed dial, organize study groups, work with an individual tutor for some one-on-one learning. A tutor might be your best bet, as he/she works closely with grad schools and knows exactly what they are looking for in students and how to help you improve your grades. Other than that, here are some tips to improve your chances of being accepted into grad school with better classes: Take relevant classes: Do some digging to find out what the curriculum is like at the schools youre applying to and mimic it at your undergrad. Take the exact same classes if you can. You can search the Internet for a schools curriculum, ask professors at your undergrad what they think it will be like, reach out to current/former grad students, etc. Ultimately, a student with a 3.3 undergrad GPA in a curriculum similar to the schools has a better chance than one with a 3.8 in irrelevant classes. And most admissions counselors will look that far. Active learning vs passive learning: Theres an old adage saying that you will transition from a consumer of knowledge to a producer of knowledge when you move from undergrad to grad school. So, take as many classes as you can in which you are producing knowledge. Load up on project-oriented classes, labs and field-research classes instead of test-oriented classes because thats how most classes are set up in grad school. Being able to produce a project or case study with academic or practical importance is infinitely more valuable than being able to memorize a lot. Industry conferences: Field trips for grown-ups. Attending industry conferences can show you are seriously about your field. Find the classes that take students to conferences and enroll in them. Diversify general requirements: Ideally, you want your classes to be challenging and relevant to the graduate degree youre pursuing. General requirements typically miss the mark on both. So, grad schools want to see diversity. So, if youre a liberal arts major, take some science classes and vice versa. But, you dont want to diversify into pottery classes or anything like that. Still, try to take challenging, academic general requirements. What does this class say about me? Ask yourself this every time you sign up for a new class because thats exactly what grad schools will do when they see your transcript. Every class you take should say you are willing to challenge yourself and learn something new. Stick to that, and youll be golden.

But the art of reaching out doesn't stop there. You will have to know how to talk to clients, subjects and assistants. If you are a fashion photographer, you will have to instruct models; if you are a freelance photographer, you will have to convince prospects of your skill.Even if you are an animal photographer, you still have to maintain public relations skills in order to sell your images; in order to earn any money.AdaptabilityThe professional photographer must be able to adapt to all situations, all demands and all hazards.Let us suppose that a landscape photographer has been contracted to shoot the Orkney Islands for an upcoming travel exposé.The weather in that northernmost part of Scotland is famous for its changeable clime and rough seas. The photographer cannot wait for favourable conditions; the work must be done by its deadline!Photojournalists routinely encounter dangerous conditions: in war zones, in natural disasters,  even in street photography; nevertheless, the lensing professionals regale us with visions that we are perhaps spared in real life. That is why we aver that photographers must surround themselves with trustworthy people for any photoshoot in order to progress and evolve, in business and in the art itself.Patience and ConfidenceWildlife photography, baby photography, pet photography and night photography all demand  the same quality of their photographer: patience.Working with unpredictable subjects, like babies and pets, requires posing and reposing them, or employing tricks to stimulate the desire d reaction out of them.Patience is a very important virtue in this profession, as well as diplomacy and trust. Be nice to your customers so that they feel comfortable posing in front of you!Last but not least, a professional photographer needs...Continuous ImprovementBe curious. Be interested in current events surrounding the art of photography, in terms of material, image editing, techniques...Attend photography workshops. Watch video tutorials online. Join a photography club or society; meet with others who share your passion; swap photography tips with them.In order to progress, never stop learning: it is the key to success.Selling Your Freelance Photography Skills OnlineSurely you did not buy that new DSLR and enrol in photography classes simply to point your camera and press that shutter!Perhaps a webmaster can help you set up a page to showcase your art Source: Pixabay Credit: LukasbieriGoing pro in photography means marketing yourself: to find clients, to build a customer bas e, and to sell your work. The first step in generating interest in your business is naming it.Nothing necessarily catchy; in fact many aver that they now resent the clever name they've given their studio. While Lamplight Studios and Broadway Studios have a certain nostalgic appeal, harkening to days of photography in a time that the DSLR camera was unthinkable, most photographers prefer operating under their own name.It is your work, talent, skill and passion for sale; why not put your name to it?Our second recommendation to promote your business: show your work! One of the best ways to showcase your talent to create a website.Mounting a range of  shots,  from beginner to your more advanced photography work, with a short narrative attached to each frame, will prove your stripes to anyone who has a need for your brand of creativity.Whether you are wildly experienced a creating a digital portfolio, or a novice to the intricacies of creating a viewing platform, there is an online photogra phy application for you.For a quick and dirty establishment of your work, you could set up a profile and show your best shots on Wix or Tumblrthe drawback to those sites is that you must accept their templates and other restrictions of designIf you have a firm idea of the backdrop you wish to contrast your work against, WordPress is the place for you. You will have more control over templates and site design, and a greater range of colours and features. If neither of these options quite suit your fancy, you can enlist the help of a professional web designer. You could establish a work exchange programme: you provide photos for that web designers' work; s/he sets up and maintains your site for free!Bear in mind that, like you, web masters are trying to make a living. While workflow exchange could be mutually beneficial, be prepared to pay for services rendered. After all: with the proliferation of websites offering free, attribution-only downloads of imagery, a professional web page d esigner might not want to trade work for exclusive photos.Remember: your homepage picture should represent your type of photography! If you are a landscape photography artist, greet your future clients with your most stunning panorama! If you are a commercial photographer, a mélange of shots â€" from adverts, of pets and people, would be the better home page for you. Here is one more suggestion to get your photography business off the ground: offer photography tutorials. Your site could be a sort of photography school for the amateur who doesn't have the time or means for photography lessons; who perhaps wants to learn how to use a digital camera to its full capability. While you've got your computer booted, why not establish profiles social media?Facebook, Pinterest, and especially LinkedIn are guaranteed outlets to gain exposure and recognition as an expert in photography and digital imaging. If your passion is film photography, think of the waves you could make in the sea of digit al images with the richness and tone of   images captured on film!Word of mouth is still the most powerful and effective means of advertising,  and it offers a cost benefit: getting liked and forwarded on social media is absolutely free! One other outlet for your best images that we put forth: photo banks, such as Fotolia, where you can sell images for future attribution and royalties.Taking the place of an agent, such sites serve not only to promote your art, but they get your name out to the greater public, far beyond your immediate surroundings. Each attribution is another mention of your name: another costless form of advertising! Not only does your name get publicised but you stand to gain royalties from each of your snaps a subscriber downloads.
